Our Story

Welcome to Bouang – a cozy and funky Asian Eatery located on the main street in Luang Prabang. We’ve been open since 2017 and it’s been an amazing journey!

We offer food that reflects who we are and what we love: Healthy, passionate about street food & obsessed with colors. Our menu is a mix of that. Tasty, affordable & colorful where there is something for everyone with great combination of Asian meets French.

We strive to source local ingredients; ordering with farms, butchers and food artisans around Luangprabang.

Every morning our chef goes to the markets to ensure we have the best freshest ingredients.

Our interior

The décor is inspired by years of travel. Open brick work, long wooden mirrors, bamboo baskets and colored enamel plates create a vibrant backdrop to try our cuisine.

One whole wall features a painting by street artist Buddy Peace.

A small yet excellent restaurant, well situated in the main street of Luang Prabang. A party of 4, we each ordered something different, and every dish scored the highest marks. Service was efficient and fast, we felt very welcome. Definitely recommend this place !
